b) Potluck; Please bring 10 person food share [inform gab what food item you're bringing]

Meeting details: Bukit Panjang Interchange @ 11am

anyway everyone, please try not to just bring titbits. some can bring snacks but we still need real food to fill our stomach at least right? eg. fishballs, beehoon, hotdogs, cakes etc.

Okay, after suffering from gayboy's constant whining and pester and annoyance ( you know right jianchiang) He bothered me to upload the poll thing so that you guys can make your choices.

How was first day of school people!
I'm glad some people actually turned up at the canteen this morning.
(Val, a group of people always go to the canteen then up to the classroom every morning before assembly last year. so some people actually did turn up today, and i was glad. oh, someone rebonded their hair yeah? xD)
Although it seems like a final attempt to keep the 2/7 spirit alive.
I know all of us will not miss 2/7'o8 one day, and will start to accept your new class.
(You do have to love your class. If not you'll be miserable for the next two years.)
I just hope that it won't come too soon and that you guys will remember 2/7's finest and fondest memories.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
(or rather, Happy New Year's Eve)

Tomorrow's 1st Jan 2009.
So that means hell will start on the day after tomorrow.
Its hell for me, because i don't know if i will be able to adapt to a new class.
I'm already used to the craziness of 2/7 and am addicted to it.
No more gay-braz(haha) or Ms Shan and her toy hammer(which got broken due to Brendan's 'hard' private part) and the throwing of bags into the dustbin(CX's bag) and throwing of random possessions up to the empty space above the windows and not to forget Weihong's boxers.

Well, it's Sec3 year next year, so its the year where we will be busy with CCA and studies and other activities.
So, work hard yeah?
I'm crossing my fingers hoping that i will still be alive when its EOY period next year.
I hope we will still wave and greet each other when we see each others along the corridoors or in the canteen or else where.
I will do it though.

Ok i'm posting loads of emo crap so i'll just say HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Christmas Party.

Date: 23rd December 2008
Time: 5pm-8.30pm (may start earlier)
Venue: Not confirmed, but should be in a condo premise. Either BBQ pit or Function room. (Most probably Gab’s condo)

-Bring a Christmas gift to exchange on that day (min. $5-10)
-Everyone must contribute something and pay an amount of money (not confirmed, but should be around $5-10) for games and stuff.
-Bring extra clothing.
-Someone can volunteer to dress as Santa Claus/elf/fairy/ goblin whatever, for fun. (Let’s sabo Gab to be santa. After all, its easier to get kiddie-sized costumes then adult-sized ones)
-Help to clean up the place at the end of the party. If you have to leave early, we will find something for you to do before we let you go.
-Maybe bring something you like (make sure it can be hooked), so that we can hang it on a Christmas tree. (However, this is not confirmed yet) (Most likely use a LIVE TREE outside. COOL!)

Please tell me or Minyu asap to us if you're going.
We need to know the number of people going first before we can really confirm every detail, because we still need to find out the price for renting a place in the condo area and then divide it between us.
Not to mention, we have to figure out the prices for the food and deco supplies.
So please tell us asap.
If response not good, we'll cancel it since no one bothers so why must we bother?

We met up at 9 (in the end 10). Went into sentosa. Thank heavens, the weather was great!
Some went biking, rollar blading then went to have fun in the water.
Another thing, Gabriel you should buy some shorts. You dont wear long jeans to the beach.

After much consideration of the poll results, we took the majority choice of having the class outing to be on 18 nov (next tues)
At least slightly more than half the class voted. Sorry for those who cannot make it.

So, here are the details.

Venue: Sentosa
Meeting Time: 9.00am sharp
Meeting Venue: Top level of Vivo city; Food republic level, Monorail station.

We should be leave the place about evening or late afternoon.
You will receive your class tee on that day (if you ordered).

~~The outing date will be changed to the 18 Oct, Saturday instead of on this coming Wednesday, because its too rushing, not enough time to prepare.~~
And if you guys want to overnight, then you guys can overnight and then go home on Sunday.
We will try to get the food prices and the BBQ fees done ASAP, most probably on Monday, then you can bring the $ to pay us for the food.

Okaye, you guys want the crinkled fries or shoestring ones?
Then you guys want to eat more normal sausages each or one cheese sausage each?
(the cheese ones cost more)
You guys want one piece of otah each or two?
(if you want more, you pay more though)

And you want the disposable Instant BBQ Pit or the rented one?
(the instant is $10 and it includes charcoal and everything. The rented no charcoal and is $16 to $20)

Who can provide utensils like cups forks spoons and plates?
Chili and tomato sauce?
Aluminum foil too, plus BBQ tools and 3 pairs of tongs?
Satay sticks, garbage bags and paper towel too.
Oil brush and the butter and BBQ sauce?
Even if you provide, you still need to pay the fee too, but it will be better as everyone pay lesser.

And what kind of drinks do you guys prefer?
Root beer or F&N Grape etc etc?

Do you guys want sparklers?
You will have to pay more though.

There's the normal one and the Zero version.

Okaye, so Minyu and me(sharon) have discussed and decided that we should join hands to make a Video of the memories we had in these wonderful two years.
But as for the disc part, i don't think so la.
Maybe i'll put on Class blog for previewing, then upload a direct download link here to let you guys download it.

And therefore, we need all the photos we can get.
No matter in Sec1 or in Sec2.
I NEED ALL PHOTOS.

For example, i don't have much of Yongyao, Jingyao, Kianhwee, Gabriel that group the photos, so i may need them.
Also, Yilong and Samuel!
Suatkee, Carol, Jess, Wanyi etc etc also i dont really have.

So i really need your cooperations and contributions.
I only have really really stupid candid photos, and i still need nice ones.
So maybe send in your fave photos of yourself?

Because this will be a sort-of graduating gift from me and Minyu, so yeah.

I want to remember all of you, the best and worst sides of you guys.
So, if possible, send in your group photos, candid photos, self-portraits(equivelent to zi-lians) or even videos!

Okaye, second matter.

As you all should know, we don't have school on the 15th Oct because its Promotional Day(the best of luck for your streaming people!) and i have mentioned in the previous post about having a class outing.
CALL ME YOUR FAIRYGODCLASSMATE MAN!

There will be a beach "party" on that day, 2/7 peeps only!
As Minyu have said, BBQ and everything.
At East Coast Park, with the sea and everything!
As for overnight, i doubt so since the next day is a school day.
So the time will maybe be ending right after BBQ dinner cleaning up and then we will head home.
Around 7.30pm?
Or we can end earlier, we just take the dinner earlier.

Minyu got the lobang for BBQ food, so you guys just have to pay a small fee for the food, no need to prepare them!
Let me know who's going first, and then i'll decide on Monday if the plan will continue, and then the more specific details will be out.
If there's lesser than 15 people going, then the outing will be cancelled.

if we rush the tee now, do you think we can get it done before Wed?
Because you said about Sentosa outing in November, only the minority who are not overseas and have more freedom can attend so it will be hard to pass the tees.

Time: Meet at 11am at Lot1, then go as a group. End at around 7pm, if everyone does their cleaning up. We can make the ending time earlier, because i know the next day is a school day. But this is the template for now.
Venue: East Coast Park(tell them its either this or Sentosa. And this is the last class outing. It worked for me.)
Date: 15 Oct
Items to bring: Extra set of clothings and your bra+panties/boxers/briefs. Umbrella/Raincoat, towel+bathing stuff, money, water bottle, roller blades? Anything you wanna do there.

The outing is put on Hold first, not confirm yet.
We will need at least 20 replies and out of it, 15 are positive ones.
And also, me and Minyu need to confirm on how much it will cost first, and all the preparations needed before we confirm on this outing.
We will confirm it by Monday alright?

And the food will be bought by directed people only, using the money paid from all of us.
I don't want anyone to be bringing 1 packet of tidbits each, claiming that they have brought "snack(s)".

Sms-ed Hira about the outing and got a call back from her.

Mahirah law is having the high fever right now, and so she needs ample rest and therefore, the outing is canceled.
She won't be going, and she's having high fever which is pretty dangerous(if too high, must send to hospital, because can damage brain and enzymes to be denatured).

Plus i told her all the problems now because more than 5 people have a Kbox outingand its pretty rushed.
So she decided to cancel it.

Sorry for the sudden change in plans, and don't blame Mahirah alright?

I hope you understand, and besides.
I think there'll be a replacement outing on 15th Oct since its Promotional Day and we have no school.
I'll wait until she gets better, and i'll participate in the organising.

Hey everyone, after much pleading from Gaby, I'm trying to organize a Class Outing on Friday. (Just in case you guys didn't know, we don't have school on Thursday & Friday!) Anyway, here are the details:

Venue: Limbang Park (Yew Tee)
Time: 1030 - (?)
Activities: Pot Luck meals + Water/ Flour Fight
Things to bring: Extra set of clothes, Foods of choice (enough for everyone), a minimum of $5
Payment: Please pay $1 to me tomorrow for the materials for water fight.

After everything has finished, you are allowed to go your separate ways. :D
I heard many are going kbox so please organize yourselves for the after activities.
